OPTISEN Unveils New Optical Fiber Cable Manufacturing Facility to Support Thailand’s Growing ICT Industry

On April 26, 2025, WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited (WHAID) congratulated OPTISEN Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer and service provider of high-quality fiber optic cables and accessories, on the grand opening of its new manufacturing facility. The new plant, spanning 72,000 square meters, is located at WHA Chonburi Industrial Estate 2 (WHA CIE 2).

Designed with state-of-the-art production technologies, the new facility is now the largest optical fiber manufacturing plant in Southeast Asia. In its first phase, the plant has a production capacity of up to 6 million fiber kilometers per year. This significant investment reflects OPTISEN’s strong commitment to advancing Thailand’s communications infrastructure and enhancing local production capabilities for high-quality fiber optic cables. The facility will help meet the growing demands of leading telecom operators in Thailand, including AIS, JASTEL, and TRUE
