WHA Group Welcomes Consul-General of Guangzhou and Over 30 Chinese Business Delegates to Strengthen Thailand-China Economic Cooperation

May 13, 2025 – WHA Corporation Public Company Limited (WHA Group) had the honor of welcoming Mr. Kajtiti Wiwatwanont, Consul-General of Thailand in Guangzhou, along with a delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Guangzhou Sub-Council, and more than 30 leading Chinese business representatives. The visit aimed to enhance economic collaboration between Thailand and China and promote bilateral investment opportunities.

The delegation visited two of WHA Group’s flagship industrial zones: WHA Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate 1 (WHA ESIE 1), covering 8,003 rai, and the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong), spanning 9,688 rai. Both estates are designated as investment promotion and free trade zones, ideally suited for industries including automotive, metal work, electronics and home appliances, consumer goods etc. Strategically located near Laem Chabang Deep Sea Port and major highways, these estates offer exceptional logistical advantages.

The visit served as a platform for meaningful dialogue on investment opportunities and pathways for concrete economic cooperation between the two nations. It also reflects China’s continued interest in Thailand’s potential as a regional hub for manufacturing and logistics.
