WHA Group Executives visit and cooperate with Leaders of Thanh Hoa Province

On January 17, 2024, Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Group CEO of WHA Corporation Public Company Limited, along with other WHA Group Executives, visited and conferred to Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, authorities of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, leaders of departments and authorities discuss about WHA’s investment plan in Thanh Hoa province.

During this significant conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi provided an overview of the geographic and environmental conditions, including the socio-economic development of the province. He emphasized the strategic importance of the province as a crucial trade gateway between the northern and upper central regions of Vietnam, especially the Nghi Son Economic Zone and Nghi Son Port.

Ms. Jareeporn Jarukornsakul expressed appreciation for Thanh Hoa's hospitality and stated that Vietnam is one of WHA's key strategic investment areas, alongside Thailand. Therefore, this meeting marked an important step for WHA Group's investment and expansion of new projects in Thanh Hoa, demonstrating a commitment to collaborate with WHA Group in researching and investing in all areas of WHA Group's strengths in Thanh Hoa province.

Furthermore, WHA Group presented an investment proposal for the industrial estate development of Giang Quang Thinh in Thieu Hoa District and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and other Industrial Parks in Thanh Hoa for the development of the Giang Quang Thinh industrial zone in Thieu Hoa district. Soon, this will be the second project of WHA Group in Thanh Hoa province.

WHA Group has recently completed the submission of investment documents for approval the investment policy of the infrastructure construction and operation project in WHA Smart Technology - Thanh Hoa Industrial Zone, Phase 1, within Phu Quy Industrial Zone, Hoang Hoa District. The project covers an area of 178 hectares (approximately 1,100 rai) with an estimated investment of 1,290 billion Vietnamese Dong (approximately 1,800 million Thai Baht).

During the meeting, WHA Group also gave financial support to build charity houses for indigent households in Hoang Hoa and Thieu Hoa district.
